We can also have your vehicle towed if necessary.Fuel Injection Service:Removes carbon and deposits from injectors, valves, and combustion chambers. Carbon deposits are the result of additives used in modern gasoline to keep them stable and burnable. These necessary chemicals leach out and form substantial collections of carbon. Fuel injection services are recommended for emissions, engine pinging problems, rough idle problems, hard starting, hesitation problems, and as general preventive maintenance. Cooling System Flush:Removes scale and contamination from inside the radiator, engine, and coolant hoses and maintains the proper coolant pH. Coolant pH is continually dropping and the lower the pH the more acidic and corrosive the coolant becomes. Coolant should be changed every two years or twenty for thousand miles on most vehicles today. Failure to flush coolant can lead to water pump failure, radiator failure, shorted hose life, failed head gaskets, and many other costly failures. Transmission Flush:Softens and removes normal contamination from the inside of the transmission. It is especially helpful in removing dirt that collects inside the torque converter. Because the torque converter spins at a high rate of speed, dirt suspended in the transmission fluid is spun outward inside the converter, which then builds up on its inner surfaces. Dirt continues to build up until it reaches a sufficient thickness that then begins to flake off in chunks. The chunks of dirt restrict the flow of fluid through very small passages inside the transmission. Reduced fluid flow causes the transmission to overheat leading to rapid wear of vital transmission components and premature transmission failure. Routine transmission flushing can double or triple the life of your automatic transmission. It is one of the most cost beneficial services you can perform. Recommended every 30,000 miles Power Steering Flush:A relatively new process that helps prevent the failure of seals and gaskets inside the power steering pump and steering rack. In the past, power steering fluid was not a concern and typically lasted the life of the vehicle. Today, power steering fluid deteriorates much sooner due to significantly higher operating temperatures and pressures. Fluid deterioration can be credited with an estimated 300% increase in power steering repairs over the past fifteen years. Power steering flushing prevents most expensive power steering failures. Brake Flush:Brake fluid is very hydroscopic which means it attracts and absorbs moisture. This is a natural occurrence in all brake systems. Contrary to a popular myth, there is no such thing as a sealed system. Because brake fluid attracts water like a magnet attracts metal, moisture can even be drawn into the fluid through the pores of a rubber brake system components. Moisture in the brake system combines with available oxygen to form oxidation therefore damaging vital braking components. To maintain a safe braking system a flush is recommended every two years. Engine Oil Flush:No matter how meticulous you are about oil changes there are areas inside every engine where oil doesn't circulate well. The oil sits in depressions in metal castings of the engine where it slowly becomes thick and gooey from heat. Over time this forms chunks of sludge that move about inside the engine. As these chunks find their way to the oil pan they will eventually get pulled up into the oil pump screen where they will restrict the amount of oil that can circulate throughout the engine. Net result will be a shortened engine life. |
